citrixsynergy

Wow, I cannot believe that Citrix Synergy is just around the corner. As you can guess the technical community is very excited about this upcoming event with a phenomenal speaker line up, Geek Speek Live, a free certification exam (http://www.citrixsynergy.com/special-activities/certification-center.html) and great networking opportunities. This year Citrix Synergy is featuring Lunch Time Tech Chats (http://www.citrixsynergy.com/special-activities/lunch-table-tech-chats.html) during the hours noted below. You do not need to sign up, just grab your lunch and join a conversation. Here is a list of the great topics to be covered.  All of which have community experts assigned to lead the conversations:

  • Citrix Community User Groups
  • Mobility
  • Networking
  • Virtualization
  • Speak Your Geek

The session times are as follows:

Tuesday, May 6 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm
Wednesday, May 7 12:15 pm – 1:15 pm
Thursday, May 8 12:45 pm – 2:00 pm

Jo Harder and Theresa Miller have partnered to cover the topic of Virtualization. Jo is a Cloud Architect for a service provider focused on the financial industry and writes for Virtualization Practice. We have combined years of experience of 33 years in IT and were the only two ladies to speak about virtualization at BriForum 2013. We are both looking forward to Citrix Synergy and we have something extra special planned for our tables to keep the conversation going. Our tables will run in a moderated fashion with topic changes happening every 10 minutes. We have selected over 20 different topics on virtualization that will be up for grabs between each of our two tables.   We are not planning for overlapping topics, so if you are not interested in the discussion at one table, then switch to the next.

Here are just a few of the virtualization topics we have selected and there are a whole lot more.

  • Fun Times Virtualizing Apps
  • Monitoring and Management Tools
  • To Hybrid Cloud or Not to Hybrid Cloud
  • What are your Citrix XenApp printing pain points?
  • VDI or Citrix Hosted Desktops?
  • VDI – Field of Dreams or Reality?

If you are looking for interesting lunch time conversations stop by. We are planning on using easel paper to capture ideas and we are both looking forward to great conversations with you!

Wondering who we are?
